Prepare for your professional success with experience that rivals private institutions — at public university tuition and fees.
Undergraduate Students
When weighing the cost of attending college, it is important to consider the “total cost of attendance,” as financial aid awards are based on this amount — not only those costs billed by the university, such as tuition and fees. For many of our students, these expenses are offset by grants and scholarships.
Merit Scholarships
As a newly admitted student, your outstanding academic achievement will be rewarded with a merit scholarship. Bridgewater awards $4.5M in merit scholarships annually to first-year students. Bridgewater guarantees merit scholarship to students with a 3.40 or higher high school GPA.

Things to Know
Obtaining Massachusetts residency in an aim to pay in-state-resident tuition and fees is difficult for undergraduate students with parents who are non-Massachusetts residents (this includes transfer students from community colleges and other post-secondary institutions within Massachusetts). Most non-Massachusetts resident undergraduates with nonresident parents are considered nonresidents for the duration of their undergraduate career at BSU.
Non-Massachusetts residents who qualify for admission will be offered the Horace Mann Scholarship that annually provides $5,000 towards overall cost of attendance. Learn more about merit scholarships for newly admitted students »
